Owner’s Representative and Project Manager’s for repair/replacement of lower level slab at Mount Sinai Jewish Center. MSJC was experiencing significant issues with the existing concrete slab as it was pitching in certain areas, cracking and partially sinking in other areas. The condition was getting worse and needed to be addressed. Milagros & Associates began by assembling a team of professional to perform exploratory & investigative work as to the cause of the condition. Several remedial recommendations were made and approved, which entailed the removal of the existing slab, filling voids that had been created over time, repair of under slab piping, and installation of new concrete slab. The lower level of the facility was then renovated with a new Chapel, a new Early Childhood Activity Room, new Bathrooms, and replacement windows.
