Rockaway Waterfront Alliance was awarded the Rockaway firehouse at Beach 59th Street (Engine Company 265 Ladder 121) and Rockaway Beach Blvd. This site will house RWA’s programs are designed to engage the Far Rockaway community in the revitalization of their own waterfront, through educational programs, outdoor recreational classes and events, in a single location with access to both Jamaica Bay and the Atlantic shoreline. Owner’s Representative & Project management responsibilities include NYC Uniform Land Use Review Process (ULURP), DASNY funding Process, NYC Pass-Through Contract process, bridge financing, Design process, construction bid process and construction oversight
